An integrative Counselling Practitioner and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ("BACP"), with a total of over two thousand, five hundred counselling hours’ of client engagement.

Able to quickly build collaborative rapport and trust; enabling strong therapeutic relationships, whilst sensitively challenging clients, when appropriate. Facilitating intuitive exploration of a wide range of concerns, utilising integrative relational approach with person–centred foundation; drawing upon other modalities according to client need.

Typically, working with clients encountering significant life changes, including bereavement or other loss, anxiety, depression and / or low confidence (often arising from relational or work-related challenges).

Having engaged in over one hundred hours of counselling myself, I understand that the initial decision to commence therapeutic engagement is always brave and often itself difficult.

Within my integrative relational approach, I engage in person-centred practice as a foundation, drawing upon other models according to client need. These would include CBT and Transactional Analysis, facilitating exploration of intrapersonal and interpersonal concerns.

Drawing, where appropriate, on a basis of my own lived experience, I endeavour to maintain a collaborative approach, whilst also offering challenges to existing beliefs and perceptions, where those might be lacking in self-compassion and / or unhelpful.

Typically, my clients report progression, within a strong therapeutic alliance, empowering the possibility of more effective coping mechanisms and positive advancement.

I am qualified to deliver counselling services by means of a Diploma of Higher Education in therapeutic counselling, having experience of engaging with a wide range of presentations.

My personal experience includes working through a number of the presentations which I frequently encounter within my professional engagement, engendering for me passion and belief in the potential of counselling to offer a means of progression.

Having worked in partnership with several Employee Assistance Programmes, I have experience in engaging a diverse range of clients, identifying pertinent themes and patterns and offering non-directive, empathic observations and potential opportunities to address the difficulties involved.

With over two thousand, five hundred hours of client engagement and commitment to ongoing continual professional development, I would be delighted to discuss with you your requirements and how we might be able to address them together.
